Most people think style is something you either have or you don't.
I was stylist #12 at Stitch Fix, back when the styling team was fifteen people. By the time I left, it was over five thousand. What I kept seeing was that a full closet and nothing to wear is almost always a systems problem.
I went from Stitch Fix to helping Amazon launch its first physical fashion store, and the lesson was the same. The gap between shopping and actually getting dressed is where people lose the thread.
Then I got laid off. I was trying to figure out what came next while applying for jobs and experimenting with content. But people kept asking me to style them.
Style is a skill, and anyone can learn it. Your life keeps changing so what you care about looks different at 44 than it did at 32, and your wardrobe has to keep up with all of it. The women who feel best in their clothes stopped waiting for the version of their closet that finally has everything.
"The hard part was the translation layer. Why does something work on someone else, and how would it look proportionally on me? That's where she's exceptional."
I'm here to help you understand why things work so you can trust your own decisions. And to be in your corner when your life shifts and your wardrobe needs to catch up.
